Role Description

• Creative Collaboration:

Work closely with directors, producers, and other artists to understand project goals and translate them into compelling visual effects.

• VFX Production:

Design and execute high-quality visual effects, includes simulations of explosions, fire, water and atmospheric elements.

This also includes asset creation, character animation, motion capture and special effects.

• Compositing:

Integrate VFX seamlessly into live-action footage using software such as Nuke or After Effects, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative.

• 3D Animation and Modeling:

Utilize 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D) to create and animate assets, enhancing the visual depth of projects.

• Technical Problem Solving:

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the VFX production process, optimizing workflows and rendering times.

• Quality Assurance:

Review and critique VFX shots, providing constructive feedback and making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired outcome.

• Documentation:

Maintain organized files and documentation for all projects, ensuring that assets are easily accessible for team members.

• Mentorship:

Guide and support junior artists, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster growth within the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in VFX production, with a strong portfolio that showcases a wide range of styles and techniques.
• Expertise in industry-standard VFX tools such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, Houdini, Cinema 4D and Maya.
• Strong understanding of the principles of animation, composition, color theory, and lighting to create visually appealing effects.
• Exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work within deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.
• Marketing Agency experience is a must have.
