We are looking for a 3D Animator to work at an open-world MMORPG for PC and Consoles. Responsibilities include creating realistic character gameplay animations, integrating animations via Unreal Engine, identifying and resolving technical issues, participating in playtests, and updating animation sequences. The role involves using Maya, working with HIK HumanIK, and adhering to timelines. This position requires a proactive individual with an interest in experimentation and learning new methods. The candidate will work remotely and be part of a team.
Must have:
  • Expert proficiency in Maya animation package.
  • Proficient with HIK HumanIK and custom rigs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding demo reel with character/creature/gameplay systems.
  • 4+ years of experience animating video games.
  • At least one shipped game.
  • Experience within Unreal Engine or a Comparable engine.
  • Understanding of Character Skin, HIK Maya Rig.
  • Jira Time tracking of all tasks in animation pipeline.
  • Meet project timelines and production schedules.
  • Understanding of character performance, form, gesture, and silhouette.
  • Understanding of anatomy and caricature.
  • Experience and understanding of Character state networks / Blendtree’s and montages.

3D Character animator (Gameplay)


We are looking for a 3D Animator to work at an open-world MMORPG for PC and Consoles with a team of professionals worldwide.

About us:
G-SPACE STUDIO LTD is a European game development studio. Our company has been developing games and applications since 2011. We work with partners from Europe, Canada, and the USA.
We started as a small team of indie Flash game developers, and now we are a solid studio of game development veterans. We love games and know almost everything about them. We are developing high-quality products of varying complexity, such as MMORPG, AR / VR games, and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Created strong / Realistic / Clear / Readable / “Keyframe” 3d Character Gameplay animations with instruction and feedback from the Lead Animator.
  • Animations will require Bipedal / Quadruped / Custom / Creature / Imagination.
  • Integrate and verify your own Animations via (Unreal Engine).
  • Identify and help resolve technical and artistic issues related to animation.
  • Be involved in regular group playtests.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with an interest to experiment and learn new methods/practices.
  • Updating Animation Sequences with Relative Animation Tags (Unreal).
Requirements:
