About the job
Responsibilities- Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
- Define/review the system diagram of the EV Powertrain system
- Define/review the controller architecture, interfaces (electrical and physical), and functions for powertrain system of EV with focus on diagnostics
- Define the high level and detailed requirements for powertrain systems and controls for EV, including sizing requirements
- Develop the powertrain & vehicle functions and software, including logic development, MIL evaluation, HIL evaluation and vehicle level validation using MBD approach
- Develop & implement diagnostics for powertrain controllers
- Implement ISO 26262 Functional Safety requirements
- Functional Testing, System/Component Benchmarking, and database creation
- Working with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for above development
Technical/ Functional:
- Working experience of automobile powertrain system & controls
- Exposure to Hybrid / Electric powertrain and ECU system & control Design, Sizing, Simulation, Development, Verification and Validation. Familiarity with on board diagnostics.
- Experience in testing at vehicle level
- Experience of Model Based Design with Matlab Simulink/State flow
- Experience in testing at controller level (HIL) and vehicle level
- Exposure to appropriate Regulations and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 038, AIS 102, AIS 048 etc.
- ECU testing, excellent electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of ISO 26262
- Proactive, excellent in taking initiatives
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Self-Starter & Team-player
- Should be open to posting anywhere as per the job requirement
- B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication
- M.E / M. Tech in Control Systems / Power Electronics / Mechatronics and project work related to Electric Vehicle / Hybrid Electric Vehicle.
