ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Program Architect

The opportunity

Unity Technologies is seeking a Senior ISV Program Architect to kickstart our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) initiative within the Product-Led Growth team.

Unity Technologies is in the early stages of launching an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) program. As a Senior ISV Program Architect, you will be crucial in scaling this nascent initiative. Your role will involve defining the program’s foundation, validating its effectiveness, and expanding its scope based on demonstrated success. This position demands a proactive leader who can drive the program’s growth from its infancy through to a mature, integral part of Unity’s global strategy, ensuring it delivers tangible benefits to both Unity and its partners.

In the role of Senior ISV Program Architect at Unity Technologies, you will be actively engaging with customers and ISVs to collect first-party feedback, ensuring the program is closely aligned with their needs. You'll also work closely with internal teams including Industry Sales, Product and Partner Marketing, Account Management, Sales Enablement, Channel Sales, Support, Legal, and R&D. This collaboration is key to building and scaling the program effectively, integrating diverse insights and expertise from across the company.

This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of a major growth area within the company. As the Senior ISV Program Architect you will not only shape a key strategic initiative but also contribute significantly to Unity’s broader mission.

This role requires that you travel 15-25% to engage with ISV partners and attend relevant industry events.

What you'll be doing

• Strategize and scale a comprehensive ISV program that aligns with Unity’s business objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with key ISV partners, negotiating partnerships that enhance our offerings and expand our reach.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of ISV products and services.
• Develop metrics and benchmarks to measure the success of the program and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Provide expert insights into the software vendor landscape, identifying trends and opportunities for collaboration.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in program development or partnership management within the software or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing ISV partnerships or similar B2B relationships.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing senior executives.
• Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.
