Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Learning & Development senior associate you’ll work as part of the Learning & Development team contributing to the success of our people by designing, developing and facilitating Human Skills workshops and initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

Responsible for:

Workshop Design, Development & Facilitation

  • Deliver human skills development workshops e.g. communication skills, coaching skills and relationship skills, as part of our annual curriculum

  • Facilitate bespoke development sessions and team based learning workshops

  • Design, develop and deliver Train the Trainer workshops in order for internal tutors to provide high quality training to the graduates 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support, design and develop human skills learning content for the Firm’s graduate programmes. 

  • Coach participants during and after workshops to personalise their learning and development

  • Prepare workshop admin checklists and brief the Learning & Development operations team on admin requirements prior to workshops

  • Understand and consider the PwC Professional behaviours, Firmwide Strategy and Firm Values to support workshop delivery and design

  • Assist in the design and development of designated programmes in response to the needs of the business including digital, virtual and face to face sessions

  • Develop high quality, professional learning materials and tutor notes for workshops that reflect the 70:20:10 learning principles

  • Focus on efficiency and effectiveness when designing learning material and take a blended approach

  • Provide assistance in the design of bespoke learning and development requirements for the business and advise key stakeholders of the most effective learning solutions to meet their needs

Projects and Initiatives

  • Participate in various firm-wide projects to implement the Firm’s people development strategies

  • Development and delivery of human skills sessions for the Firm’s Digital Accelerator programme 

Experiences and skills:

  • Minimum 5yrs + experience in similar role including 3yrs+ experience of Human Skills Development and Delivery with an ability to create and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences

  • Facilitation of a variety of workshops from communication skills to coaching

  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders in order to support the learning and development experience of graduates 

  • Design and development of workshops in line with PwC strategy, values and PwC Professional

  • Experiencing using a pull or coaching facilitation style for training delivery

  • Coaching individuals to support their growth and development

  • Training needs analysis: the skill to analyse the learning needs of the firm through partnering with the business to understand the training needs and design/tailor training accordingly

  • Ability to critically analyse participant feedback

  • Teamwork: Working effectively with others to organise, design and deliver training programs. This includes partnering with subject matter experts and coordinating with team members.

  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft and google suite of tools and virtual collaboration technologies.

  • Professional L&D Qualification is preferred

  • Bachelor Degree is required

  • Coaching qualification or working towards one is preferred
