The Sales Team Lead - Mid Market role combines individual sales responsibilities with team leadership. The individual will be responsible for managing a personal sales quota, focusing on new business opportunities and account expansion, while simultaneously coaching and developing a team of sales professionals within the Mid-Market segment. They will drive revenue growth by exceeding sales targets, building a pipeline, and executing strategies for renewals and upsells. They will also mentor the sales team to help them achieve their goals and grow within the company. The role involves leading negotiations and contract execution. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in SaaS sales within supply chain management, demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas, including renewal and upsell business and prior experience in a leadership or coaching role.
Must have:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions in supply chain management domain.

Sales Team Lead - Mid Market

Location: Remote, Europe

 

E2open are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Salesperson who thrives in both a sales representative and people leadership role. This unique position combines the responsibility of managing a personal sales quota, focusing on new business opportunities and account expansion, with the leadership aspects of coaching and developing a team of sales professionals within the Mid-Market segment (clients under $1bn in revenue). As a “Player/Coach,” you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth while also mentoring and supporting your team to hit their goals and grow within the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Quota Achievement:

  • Own and exceed personal sales targets, driving new logo acquisition, renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities capable of exceeding assigned quota.
  • Design and execute effective strategies for renewals, upsell, and churn mitigation, ensuring long-term client relationships and revenue growth.
  • Lead negotiations and contract execution in collaboration with internal legal and finance teams.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Coach, mentor, and develop sales team (3 direct reports), helping them to hit their quotas and prepare for future opportunities within the company.
  • Regularly review sales team performance, providing guidance and support on key deals, processes, and client interactions.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of successfully selling SaaS solutions in the supply chain management domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas, including renewal and upsell business.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or coaching role, guiding a team to achieve collective goals is desirable, but not essential.
