Description

You will be using real-time data, industry trends, your wits and experience to make product decisions, refine these ideas through iteration, work closely with the team to execute them and use data to validate your hypothesis.

You will work closely with the UA and Monetization teams in order to identify opportunities, tackle issues, and build partnerships. You will work closely with Product Managers, Producers, and Data Scientists in order to define roadmaps and execute on the teams’ combined vision.

True to the company’s philosophy, this role will be a combination of art, science, and business; you will be expected to deep dive into spreadsheets and analytics in order to support your hunches and product decisions as well as have a firm grasp of your product KPIs and understand your players and their journeys.



Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse large, complex data sets representing the behaviour of millions of mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions.

  • Conduct user behaviour deep dives, identifying patterns in critical usage aspects such as playing, purchasing and churning.

  • Identify areas for improvement; make hypotheses; plan, execute and analyse A/B tests to improve business metrics.

  • Use pre/post analyses to understand how product and ecosystem changes are affecting users and the business.

  • Work closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define meaningful metrics and KPIs.

  • Define and build user segments that deliver business value.

  • Partner with and support Live Operations analysts in defining pricing policy and game economy.

  • Provide actionable recommendations and conclusions from game data to shape features and future product roadmaps

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • An interest in Mobile Gaming.

  • Strong analytical thinker, able to deep dive into details as well as command a holistic view of a product.

  • Experience reading and creating dashboards in order to gain a better understanding of a product.

  • Experience with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Excel and solid SQL capabilities.

  • Ability to make decisions on product roadmaps, features & strategies based on data, market trends & experience.

  • Incredible communication skills, ability to articulate complicated data concisely and ask the right questions to understand requirements.
