Job Description

Google Threat Intelligence (GTI) seeks a Software Engineer to build and enhance their threat intelligence platform. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing new features, ensuring scalability and security. The role involves processing massive threat intelligence data, collaborating with security experts, optimizing performance, and staying updated on the latest threats and technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in building and managing threat intelligence teams and a strong background in system security analysis.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
5+ years experience in threat intelligence
System security analysis experience
Develop and implement platform features
Process and analyze massive datasets
Collaborate with security experts

Good to have:

Experience with detection, incident response
Threat modeling, vulnerability scanning
Excellent communication and leadership skills
System and network hardening experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience building and managing threat intelligence teams in companies or government agencies.
Experience analyzing the security of systems (e.g., security testing, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, etc.).
Experience with technical and cyber security.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with detection, incident response, threat intelligence, and systems and network hardening.
Ability to work analytically to process multidimensional information and solve for connections.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our platform, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Contribute to the design and implementation of systems to process, analyze, and store massive amounts of threat intelligence data.
Work closely with security experts to understand their needs and translate them into actionable features.
Identify opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.
Stay abreast of the latest threats and technologies to ensure our platform remains effective and cutting-edge.
