Job Description:

As a UI/UX Designer at Rooter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface design of our platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, visually appealing, and functional designs that elevate the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate conceptual ideas into engaging and user-friendly designs for web and mobile platforms
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to continuously improve usability
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design
• Advocate for user-centric design principles and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the organization

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of design experience with a portfolio showcasing a breadth of excellent brand-related work
• Bachelor's degree in Design, or related field
• Strong design sensibilities, from high-level strategic direction to production details
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or equivalent
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, including wireframes, prototypes, and finished projects
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate and defend design decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
