Job Title: ALS Keyboard Application Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software development team to build an innovative keyboard application designed for individuals with ALS, using eye-tracking technology, voice synthesis, and avatar integration. This role involves building and maintaining a platform-compatible application for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android, integrating multiple APIs, and creating a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a custom keyboard application leveraging Irisbond eye-tracking technology, ensuring full integration with their API for a smooth user experience.
- Integrate Eleven Labs voices, utilizing API keys and voice IDs to personalize voice output for each user.
- Implement D-ID avatar technology, ensuring that avatars are displayed on an externally connected display, with video streaming from the D-ID API.
- Create and maintain a user-friendly front-end interface for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Ensure API compatibility across different operating systems and platforms.
- Manage testing, debugging, and defect handling to ensure the application is reliable, accessible, and efficient.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all functionalities meet the project goals and user needs.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, as communication and documentation will be in English.
- Proven experience developing cross-platform applications for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
- Experience with API integration, particularly with Irisbond (eye tracking), Eleven Labs (voice synthesis), and D-ID (avatars).
- Strong knowledge of front-end user interface development.
- Familiarity with video streaming technologies and APIs.
- Proficient in testing methodologies and defect management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
