As an Animator at Coatsink, you will be required to have an excellent understanding of animation principles and will be expected to followed guidance and direction from Senior and Lead Animators, consistently learning and developing new skills. You will use Maya to create character rigs and animations and assist with the development of character and personality while serving the games aesthetic and design.

Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with Programmers and Designers about animation implementation.
- Work in Unity on animation trees
- Work on body mechanics and acting
- Work on creating believable environment animations
- Produce character rigs using Maya
- Being receptive to feedback and making necessary revisions
Person Specification
Required
- Two years’ experience in the games industry minimum
- Relevant degree in Games Animation or equivalent course
- Experienced in Maya
- Able to create rigs in Maya
- Willingness to learn and adapt following the needs of a project
- Ability to work within an established pipeline
- Excellent team skills
- A creative mindset and a self-starter
Preferred
- Experience creating complex rigs
- Knowledge of Unity Animation systems
- Understanding of blend trees
