Job Description

This is a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician (m/w/d) starting August 1st, 2025 in Neuwied, Rhineland-Palatinate. The apprenticeship is practice-oriented, with experienced trainers and international aspects. The role involves assembling and wiring mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components into complex mechatronic systems, reading and interpreting drawings and schematics, process monitoring, quality control, functional testing, and commissioning. It also includes manufacturing precise parts using machining processes (turning, milling, or drilling) according to specifications, SPS programming and commissioning, and testing electrical devices and assemblies. Strong integration into current projects and assembly teams is emphasized. The position offers an above-average apprenticeship salary with 13 monthly payments, 30 days of annual leave, and company participation.

Must have:

Realschule degree with good grades in physics, math, and English
Technical-physical interest and basic understanding
Enjoyment in solving technical problems and basic understanding of electronics
Manual skill and spatial imagination
Structured, independent work combined with adaptability, perseverance, and teamwork

What You’ll Do

Ausbildungsinhalte:

Montage und Verdrahtung von mechanischen, elektrischen und pneumatischen Bestandteilen zu komplexen mechatronischen Systemen sowie Lesen, Verstehen und Anwenden von Zeichnungen und Schaltplänen
Prozessüberwachung, Qualitätskontrolle und die Durchführung von Funktionstests mit anschließender Inbetriebnahme
Herstellen präziser Bauteile durch spanendes Verfahren (Drehen, Fräsen oder Bohren) nach Zeichnungsvorgaben
SPS-Programmierung und Inbetriebnahme sowie Messen und Prüfen elektrischer Geräte und Baugruppen
