Microsoft is seeking a Business Program Manager to join its India COE team within CSCP. This role will support the India CoE GM and leadership team in managing the business's rhythm, budget, PCN management, and business programs. Responsibilities include managing large-scale programs, driving operational initiatives, improving processes, developing reports, and analyzing data. The ideal candidate will possess strong business management, program management, and operational skills, with experience in managing virtual teams and delivering measurable results. The role involves collaborating with a geographically dispersed audience and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in program/process management or equivalent
  • Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills
  • Experience managing virtual teams and delivering impact without direct authority
  • Ability to manage budget, PCNs and recruiting processes
Good to have:
  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • 2+ years of supply chain or operations domain experience

Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. The role will work with our India CoE GM and Leadership team in driving the rhythm of the business, budget and PCN management, business programs, driving organizational initiatives, and business processes. This individual will also work closely with the wider IDC Business Management community in C+AI. This individual must have a blend of business management, program management and operations skills to be successful. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience.  

Other Requirements:  Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years thereafter.  

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

10+ years (significant) demonstratable project management experience 2+ years (several years of) supply chain or operations domain experience preferred  Strong organization skills with demonstrated ability to be adaptable and resilient Proactiveness and a strong positive outlook and approach to change management  Strong business acumen and mental agility to ramp quickly across our diverse business and offerings  Enjoy working under pressure and deadlines, be able to work independently, with a strong ability to manage complexity while driving clarity  Demonstrated strong capability in reporting, verbal and written communications skills across a geographically dispersed audience  Experience in managing virtual teams and driving impact without direct authority.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Management and controls of budget, PCNs and recruiting processes within the Cloud Supply Chain team Support the India CoE GM and Leadership team in the Cloud Supply Chain team in running the operations of the business, including requesting input from team members and collating weekly and monthly business review documents, reports, PPTs, whitepapers, team meetings, All Hands etc.

Manage and run the rhythm of the business (ROB) for the Leadership of the Cloud Supply Chain team Identity programs that are required to drive long term business improvements within the Cloud Supply Chain team

Manage large scale programs from scoping to execution and delivery Manage virtual teams to deliver on programs driving significant impact without direct authority

Manage projects and processes driving measurable results to deliver business impact 

Run and manage operational initiatives end to end Identify and drive options to improve operational process improvements

Develop strong process flows and documentation to roll out across the team

Manage systematic documentation storage across the team Develop reports and analyze data identifying insights and areas for improvement
