Cloud Architect

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Cloud Architect (Contract) to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions. This role involves architecting and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure, defining migration strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on cloud-native applications. The architect will also establish governance, compliance, and security best practices, evaluate new cloud technologies, and maintain architecture standards.

Must Have

• Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Define and drive cloud migration strategies, optimizing performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Establish and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of cloud technologies aligned with business needs.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud trends and best practices.
• 10+ years experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven experience in architecting and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with Cloud migrations and toolsets.
• Expertise in provisioning, private and public cloud, including AWS and VMware migration.
• Ability to translate customer needs into complete solutions.
• Analytical, diagnostic, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce proposals, solution designs, and architecture documentation.

Overview

Cloud Architect (Contract)

As a Senior Manager Technology (Architect, Cloud Infrastructure), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions that drive scalability, security, and efficiency. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience in architecting and implementing cloud solutions for enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Proven knowledge and experience with Cloud migrations and toolsets
• Proven expertise in provisioning, private and public cloud, preferably with experience in AWS migration and VMware migration
• Proven industry experience, preferably within a consulting organisation
• Ability to deal with customers at all levels and translate customer needs into a complete solution
• Analytical, diagnostic, project management and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to produce compelling proposals, solution designs, and architecture documentation
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
