Job Description

The CMII Change Administrator will analyze and optimize hardware engineering processes, leveraging data analytics to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement. This role involves implementing workflow strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and developing documentation and training for tools like PPAP, Agile, Kaizen, Kanban, Visio, Python, Tableau, and Power BI to enhance productivity and data-driven decision-making.
Must Have:
  • Analyze existing hardware engineering processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
  • Utilize data analytics techniques to gather and analyze process-related data.
  • Implement workflow optimization strategies to streamline hardware development processes.
  • Drive innovations and continuous improvement initiatives within the hardware engineering department.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by fostering collaboration and sharing best practices.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement tools and methodologies (PPAP, Agile, Kaizen, Kanban).
  • Develop and maintain hardware engineering process documentation (Microsoft Visio).
  • Provide training and support to hardware engineering teams in the use of tools and methodologies.
  • Utilize Python, Tableau, Power BI, and other data analytics tools to extract insights.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and process metrics.

Major Accountabilities:

1. Analyze existing hardware engineering processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

2. Utilize data analytics techniques to gather and analyze process-related data, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.

3. Implement workflow optimization strategies to streamline hardware development processes and improve overall efficiency.

4. Drive innovations and continuous improvement initiatives within the hardware engineering department, leveraging insights from process flow analysis and data analytics.

5. Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and best practices, enhancing productivity and effectiveness.

6. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and implementing lessons learned.

7. Evaluate, select, and implement tools and methodologies to support hardware engineering processes, such as PPAP, Agile methodologies, Kaizen, and Kanban.

8. Develop and maintain hardware engineering process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions, using tools like Microsoft Visio.

9. Provide training and support to hardware engineering teams in the use of tools and methodologies to ensure consistent and effective implementation.

10. Utilize Python, Tableau, Power BI, and other data analytics tools to extract insights from hardware engineering data and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.

11. Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators, process metrics, and trends, enabling data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
