Steer Studios is seeking a a CMK Specialist to directly influence games production, business and go to market strategies. As consumer & market knowledge Specialist, s/he will work closely with production teams to ensure all product stakeholders understand the market trends and consumer needs. You will work directly with the Game teams, Brand Marketing teams, User Acquisition teams and Data and analytics teams to explain what consumers want, why they want it and how we can influence them through immersive exploration, in-depth analysis and detailed research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover market research needs to identify business opportunities (niche and mass-market) and gaming market growth Worldwide.
- Identify and present market strategy, business, marketing and game design best practices.
- Build competition benchmarking on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with game development and business teams to convey these learnings and accompany brand and game projects.
- Contribute to consumer knowledge diffusion within the SAVVY group entities and organization. Feed and inspire thinking with consumer and market studies.
- Track gaming and entertainment trends.
- Build internal training and development to enable our business to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to explore and understand consumers’ experiences and unmet needs.
- Support and contribute to transversal tasks and projects among the marketing team.
- Communicate and report to the Head of the Marketing division.
Qualifications & Key Skills:
- Analytical thinking.
- Passion and enthusiasm for Games and curious researcher with strong observational and analytical skills.
- First relevant Market research experience focused on consumer knowledge analysis for video games and mobile games.
- Knowledge in a variety of methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research.
- 100% Data-oriented and have a clear understanding of key metrics for the Marketing domain ranging from Store details, Game KPIs, and UA metrics.
- Creativity, Innovation, Follow-Through, Strong written and verbal communication and priority setting skills.
- Ability to contribute and influence by effectively communicating complex insights to influence across levels and functions.
- Experience and knowledge of various market research and Data tools (Sensor Tower, GameRefinery,…).
- Fluent in English, any additional language is an added value.
