What’s the role?

The Director of Events and Experiences at Bilt will be responsible for overseeing and scaling specifically the B2B events strategy while working with the Senior Director of Events & Experiences to ensure seamless execution of all Bilt events and experiences. This individual will collaborate across multiple teams, including design, creative, and operations, to ensure that every touchpoint delivers a premium, cohesive experience that represents the Bilt brand at its highest level. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader who can manage complex logistics, work with vendors and partners, and scale experiences efficiently while maintaining tight budget controls.

In this role, you will…

• Scale B2B Events Strategy:
  • Lead and expand Bilt’s B2B events strategy across key markets, ensuring alignment with brand goals and member engagement.
  • Determine conference activation strategy & execution plan 
  • Manage an events calendar, developing a roadmap for offering more in-person experiences for Bilt partners, and enhancing community and brand presence.
• Assist with B2C Event Production:
  • Help with the expansion of Rent Day experiences to more cities and locations without increasing budget, identifying efficiencies and scalable opportunities.
  • Plugging into larger-scale tentpole events that span across B2B and B2C. 
• Manage Gifting & Swag Management
  •  Collaborate with the swag & creative team to develop exclusive, branded products for events and partnerships that strengthen Bilt's identity.
• Manage Partner and Vendor Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and external stakeholders to flawlessly execute events and ensure Bilt's high standards are met
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to optimize value and maintain budget efficiency, without sacrificing quality or experience
• Logistics and Operations:
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics, ensuring smooth execution from planning through post-event debrief. Includes event setup, logistics management, and on-site coordination.
  • Lead operational initiatives across the team, solving any logistical or operational challenges to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Continuously improve and streamline event production processes to increase efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in brand operations, event management, or related fields.
• Strong experience in vendor management, budgeting, and logistical planning.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering premium experiences.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a creative eye for branded experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.

In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt’s salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations.

We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process.

Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.

The salary range for a Director, Events + Experiences is $130,000 - 150,000  and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.
