PayPay, a fintech company with over 70 million users, is seeking passionate professionals to drive Japan's cashless payment and financial life platform. This role is within the Sales Support Division, which consists of 6 departments and approximately 140 members, supporting PayPay's sales growth. The division constantly updates services, operations, and manuals in a rapidly evolving environment. This specific role focuses on strengthening sales support for enterprise and partner sales, including AI utilization and systemization.

  • Practical experience in sales support departments (sales promotion, sales planning, sales support, etc.), able to build good relationships with sales and solve problems

About the Role

Introduction to the Sales Support Division

In an environment where the number of merchants is rapidly increasing, service specifications are evolving, and new services are being developed daily, it is essential to constantly update service/operational procedures and sales manuals. In this rapidly changing environment, this position involves frequent negotiations with sales employees working on the front lines and internal related departments, and sales support covers a very wide range of tasks.

The Sales Support Division consists of 6 departments: Sales Management, Sales Promotion, Sales Support, Enterprise/Partner Support, Inside Sales, and Digital Sales, with an organizational structure of approximately 140 members, driving various support for PayPay's sales division, which is responsible for business growth. The mission of each department includes "formulating and executing sales strategies and analyzing various data," "streamlining sales processes and developing training programs for sales members," "promoting/planning and operating the introduction of new services," "supporting data-driven sales," and "streamlining sales processes and operational support." The division as a whole is mainly composed of members in their late 20s to 40s, and all members act as project leaders, allowing them to thrive regardless of age or work experience.

Background of the Recruitment

PayPay's services for merchants and solutions for local governments are updated daily, and the sales members responsible for these are constantly required to demonstrate speed and growth. Furthermore, there is a need to strengthen the system for supporting increasingly complex and sophisticated sales from various angles. This recruitment is for an increase in personnel to strengthen this sales support system.

Specific Job Responsibilities

Enterprise/Partner Support Department

▽ Sales Promotion for Merchant Sales Division

This role involves supporting the sales organization responsible for enterprise clients (national chains, major online companies, etc.) among PayPay's merchants. This includes back-office support, such as education and training for a sales organization of over 100 members, and sometimes attending remote business negotiations. The Enterprise/Partner Support Department is composed of 4 teams (approximately 8 members each) depending on the task, and all members act as project leaders, allowing them to thrive regardless of age or work experience.

1. AI Utilization Promotion

  • Promote automation and efficiency of operations by utilizing AI agents.
  • Extract, analyze, and visualize vast amounts of payment data to support data-driven sales activities.
  • Seeking individuals who can promote AI utilization for the Enterprise/Partner Sales Division.

2. Systemization Promotion

  • Promote the systemization of sales administration operations.
  • Seeking individuals who can respond to systemization using Python, etc., to improve operational efficiency and prevent accidents.

Required Experience/Skills

1. AI Utilization Promotion Personnel

  • Experience in promoting and disseminating AI utilization, with leadership in AI promotion.

  • Practical experience in creating queries using tools like ChatGPT or Notion AI for data department optimization.

2. Systemization Promotion Personnel

  • Super Flex System (no core time)
  • Principle: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)
