Job Summary
As an EVS Specialist, you are responsible for the workflow, recording, and playback of specialized AV productions and for training EVS operators. This role combines technical expertise, creativity, and teamwork, involving client interaction, setup building in control vehicles, and ensuring technically perfect recordings. You also actively contribute to the development of fellow operators.
Must Have
- Translate client or project manager wishes into a clear and realistic recording plan
- Advise on equipment, servers, cloud services, and recording options
- Thoroughly know equipment and directing instructions, ensuring everyone understands the setup
- Build equipment in the control vehicle and test all connections, equipment, templates, and streams
- Perform a final on-site check to ensure everything is ready for recording
- Monitor timing and playback of slow-mos, live edits, and other technical elements during production
- Identify and address problems or customer requests, or liaise with the Technical Department
- Strong communication skills for quick and clear interaction during recordings
- Good written skills for workflows, documentation, and client contact
- Knowledge of information and broadcast technology, ICT networks and connections
- Experience with EVS, peripherals, routings, control vehicles, transcoding, ISO standards, and recording language

As an EVS Specialist, you are responsible for the workflow, recording, and playback of specialized AV productions and for training EVS operators.

For our team, we are looking for an EVS specialist who is responsible for the workflow, recording, and playback of specialized AV productions.
In this role, you combine technology, creativity, and teamwork. You liaise with clients, project managers, and colleagues, build setups in our control vehicles, and ensure that every recording runs technically perfectly. In addition, you actively contribute to training our operators—because your knowledge is golden.

What will you do?
- You receive the wishes of the client or project manager and translate them into a clear and realistic recording plan;
- You advise on equipment, servers, cloud services, and recording options;
- You know both our equipment and the directing instructions inside out, and ensure everyone knows how the setup works;
- You build the equipment in the control vehicle and test all connections, equipment, templates, and streams;
- You perform a final on-site check and ensure everything is ready for recording;
- During production, you monitor the timing and playback of slow-mos, live edits, and other technical elements;
- You identify problems or customer requests and handle them yourself or liaise with the Technical Department;
What do you bring?
- Strong communication skills: you can communicate briefly and clearly during recordings and listen carefully to what the director needs;
- Good written skills for workflows, documentation, and customer contact;
- Knowledge of information and broadcast technology, ICT networks and connections;
- Experience with EVS, peripherals, routings, control vehicles, transcoding, ISO standards, and recording language;
