Job Summary
The MuleSoft field marketing team is responsible for crafting and delivering high impact marketing programs and events focusing on transformational solutions for senior-level customers. The Field Events Senior Analyst will support strategic planning, execution, and oversight of MuleSoft marketing programs in the US. This role emphasizes program management, analysis, tracking, and reporting for strategic marketing initiatives with a focus on field marketing activations.
Must Have
- Act as strategic marketing liaison into MuleSoft sales teams.
- Manage weekly sales newsletter and present market strategy and campaign results.
- Drive regional quarterly campaigns to build interest and post-event lead development.
- Evaluate, measure, and report on strategic effectiveness and return on investment for program efforts.
- Own campaign operations including creation, event registration management, and email.
- Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs requiring critical thinking and high-speed tactical execution.
- Lead cross-functional programming efforts with various teams.
- Quickly recognize, adapt, and respond to changing market and company environments.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor level degree or equivalent experience preferably with a Marketing, Communications or Business emphasis.
- 3+ years of high-tech sales or marketing experience, preferably in a field sales facing role.
- Ability to travel may be required.
Good to Have
- 2+ years event planning experience of in-person marketing events.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce, other CRM applications, Splash, and Google Suite.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently against tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to think through problems for innovative solutions.
- Experience successfully collaborating with external vendors and external marketing agencies.

Description
The MuleSoft field marketing team is responsible for crafting and delivering high impact marketing programs and events that focus on MuleSoft’s transformational solutions for our most senior-level customers. We do this by engaging IT staff and decision markers with engaging content and experiences.
The Field Events Senior Analyst role will support the strategic planning, execution and oversight of MuleSoft marketing programs in the US. This position is responsible for program management, analysis, tracking and reporting for strategic marketing initiatives with an emphasis on field marketing activations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the strategic marketing liaison into the MuleSoft sales teams, including the representation and strategic positioning of key industry executive programs, webinars, workshops, strategic, third-party and ancillary events, web and direct mail programs.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to manage weekly sales newsletter, presenting the market strategy, campaign results and new programs to sales stakeholders - BDRs, RVPs and AVPs to help build the sales pipeline and close business.
- Drive regional quarterly campaigns to build interest in field executive program events and post-event lead development.
- Evaluate, measure and report on strategic effectiveness and return on investment for program efforts. Own campaign operations such as campaign creation, event registration management and email.
- Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both critical thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.
- Ability to lead cross-functional programming efforts with Industry, Cloud, Corporate Marketing, Partner Alliances Sales and Marketing teams.
- Quickly recognize, adapt and respond to changing market and company environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to communicate with team members at varying levels of management, conceptually and tactically.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor level degree or equivalent experience preferably with a Marketing, Communications or Business emphasis.
- 3+ years of high-tech sales or marketing experience, preferably in a field sales facing role.
- 2+ years event planning experience of in-person marketing events is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce, or other CRM applications, Splash, and Google Suite preferred.
- Travel may be required.
