Frostbite Engine Specialist & Mentor

We’re looking for a Frostbite Engine Specialist—not just to integrate and optimize the engine, but to mentor our developers and help them master Frostbite. If you’re passionate about sharing knowledge and shaping the next generation of technical experts, this role is for you. 

Your Mission:

• Guide and train our internal development teams on Frostbite best practices, workflows, and technical intricacies.
• Collaborate with game teams to integrate, optimize, and troubleshoot Frostbite, ensuring smooth adoption across projects.
• Develop training materials, documentation, and hands-on workshops to accelerate learning and implementation.
• Support developers in refactoring and updating game code to leverage new Frostbite APIs and features.
• Work closely with designers, gameplay programmers, and technical artists to maximize Frostbite’s capabilities.
• Identify and resolve integration challenges, ensuring seamless game development pipelines.
• Optimize game performance through profiling, debugging, and technical enhancements using tools like PIX, Razor, RenderDoc, or Frostbite’s built-in debugging tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows, tools, and Frostbite-related processes.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Frostbite engine in game development. 
• A strong desire to teach, mentor, and guide developers in learning and mastering Frostbite. 
• Deep expertise in C++ (and C# preferred), with a focus on performance optimization. 
• Experience with game engine integration, debugging, and optimization. 
• A track record of debugging large-scale systems and optimizing CPU, GPU, and memory performance. 
• Familiarity with current-gen gaming platforms (PS5, Xbox Series X, PC) and their development pipelines. 
• Experience with version control systems like Perforce (preferred) or Git. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
