LanguageBird is a leading provider of online language learning experiences. As an Fx Artist at LanguageBird, you will play a critical role in creating visually stunning and engaging content for our language learning platform. You will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality effects and animations that enhance the learning experience for our students.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative team to design and create compelling visual effects and animations
- Develop and implement new effects and techniques to enhance our language learning platform
- Utilize industry-standard software tools to create and animate effects
- Optimize effects for performance and compatibility across multiple platforms and devices
- Work closely with the development team to integrate effects into our platform
- Collaborate with other artists and designers to ensure a consistent visual style and cohesive experience
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in visual effects and animation
- Proven experience as an Fx Artist or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard 2D and/or 3D animation software (e.g., After Effects, Maya, Blender)
- Demonstrated ability to create visually pleasing effects and animations
- Excellent knowledge of current visual effects techniques and software
- Strong understanding of principles of animation and visual storytelling
- Solid understanding of composition, color theory, and typography
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- A portfolio showcasing your previous work in visual effects and animations is required
