Game Designer Intern

As a Game Designer Intern, you will be responsible for designing and balancing features, systems, mechanics, and game content. Your focus will be to assist the core Game Designer in developing innovative game features that improve player engagement, retention, and overall raises game quality.

Responsibilities

• Produce Game Design documents based on high-level requirements
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designer to develop user interfaces and tutorials
• Design and prototype gameplay and game features
• Work directly in the engine to adjust parameters and minor fixes in various systems
• Work with artists, programmers, and testers to ensure the proper implementation of designed features
• Respond to feedback, analytics, and test results in a constructive manner to improve on the designs

• Currently studying Game Design or similar domain
• Strong communication skills (both oral & written)
• Proactive and enthusiast team player, comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team
• Passionate about playing and creating games
• Knowledge of the social game design
• Fluent in English

Preferred additional experience

• Appeal towards accessible gameplay experience, in various game genres.
• Experience in working directly in Unity
• Additional languages; preferably French and/or Vietnamese
• Up-to-date on current gaming trends
