Must Have

- Partner with sales teams for flawless implementation of trade initiatives.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in FMCG, trade marketing, or channel development.

- Deep understanding of Thailand’s GT landscape and shopper behavior.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Thai and English.

Role Overview
As the Head of Channel Development for General Trade (GT), you will be the strategic driver behind how our brands win in Thailand’s traditional trade. This role focuses on understanding channel dynamics, shopper behavior, and retailer needs to design impactful trade programs that deliver growth and execution excellence.
You will lead initiatives that ensure our ice cream portfolio is desirable, available, and visible at every point of sale. By leveraging insights and data, you will create programs that strengthen retailer engagement, optimize trade investments, and elevate execution standards across thousands of outlets nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Insights & Strategy
- Analyze GT channel trends, shopper behavior, and retailer economics to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop channel strategies that enhance brand desirability and drive incremental sales.
- Define execution frameworks for availability, visibility, and in-store activation.
Trade Program Development
- Design and implement trade programs that maximize effectiveness and ROI.
- Create differentiated retailer engagement plans to strengthen loyalty and advocacy.
- Ensure trade investments are aligned with channel priorities and brand objectives.
Execution Excellence
- Establish clear standards for in-store execution across coverage, assortment, and visibility.
- Monitor program performance and recommend interventions to close gaps.
- Partner with sales teams to ensure flawless implementation of trade initiatives.
Capability Building
- Equip sales teams and distributors with tools and training to deliver superior execution.
- Embed best practices in trade program design and measurement.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and demand planning to enable seamless channel operations.
- Align with supply chain and demand planning to ensure product availability.
- Represent channel development in leadership forums and strategic reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in FMCG, with strong exposure to trade marketing or channel development.
- Proven track record in designing impactful trade programs and driving execution excellence.
- Deep understanding of Thailand’s GT landscape and shopper behavior.
