Job Summary
As an HR Manager at Springer Nature, you will be a key part of our dedicated team, responsible for supporting and advising managers and employees. You will work in an international environment, guide change processes, and contribute your expertise in labor law issues and collaboration with the works council. This role reports directly to the HR Director DACH.

As an HR Manager, you are part of our dedicated team and take on a key role in supporting and advising our managers and employees. You work in an international environment, accompany change processes and contribute your expertise in labor law issues and in cooperation with the works council.
The position reports directly to the HR Director DACH.
Your Tasks:
- Independent support of a defined group of employees
- Advising and coaching managers on all aspects of modern HR work
- Constructive cooperation and negotiation with the works council
- Accompanying change processes and organizational development measures
- Participation in strategic HR projects and implementation of operational topics
- Designing and further developing a modern, fair and competitive compensation system
- Taking on key areas such as personnel controlling, planning and reporting
Your Qualifications:
- Completed studies with a focus on HR, labor law or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in operational HR work
- Sound knowledge of labor, social security and works council law
- Proven experience in working with works councils and independent negotiation
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and high social competence
- Independent, structured way of working with a high awareness of quality
- Experience in international matrix organizations
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP-HR; Workday knowledge is a plus
- Fluent German and English language skills
The position is offered in our Heidelberg office, full-time and permanent.
