Java / Scala Developer

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a talented Java/Scala Developer to join our innovative team. This role is integral to developing and implementing high-quality, scalable applications that align with business objectives. As a Java/Scala Developer, you will contribute significantly to our technological advancement by collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing your expertise in Java and Scala.

Software Requirements

  • Scala: Advanced experience

• Preferred Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience with CI/CD practices

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Scala.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and integrate APIs and web services to enhance application functionality.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Optimize existing applications for speed and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to system design and processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our development process.

• Programming Languages:

  • Required: Java, Scala

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Preferred: Experience with popular Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and Scala libraries

• Development Tools and Methodologies:

  • Required: Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Preferred: Experience with CI/CD practices

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Preferred: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java and Scala development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Industry experience in technology development is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications
