Job Description

As a Junior SharePoint Developer at Patterned Learning, you will build SharePoint solutions using out-of-the-box features and the SharePoint Framework. Responsibilities include developing RESTful services for system integration, contributing to service design (JavaScript, jQuery, C# with REST APIs), and enhancing SharePoint's look and feel. You'll work in a fast-paced Agile environment, introducing new ideas and collaborating with team members. Experience with SharePoint customization, including branding, navigation, search configuration, site collection management, security design, content type development, workflows, and scripting is required. Proficiency in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is essential.
Must have:
  • SharePoint/O365 expertise
  • SharePoint customization skills
  • C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS proficiency
  • SPFx/JavaScript experience (1+ year)
  • RESTful service development
Good to have:
  • Power Platform knowledge (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps)
  • Accessibility Compliance (Section 508)
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Source control (with automated pipelines)
  • Nintex/Power Automate experience
  • Git knowledge

Junior SharePoint Developer  - Remote Job, 1+ Year Experience


Annual Income: $56K - $78K


A valid work permit is necessary in the US

As a SharePoint developer, you'll deliver solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

The work:

  • Develop SharePoint solutions using out of box SharePoint Features and SharePoint Framework

  • Develop RESTful services to integrate disparate and external supporting systems

  • Contribute to the design and development of services (e.g., JavaScript, jQuery, C# with REST API endpoints)

  • Contribute to the development of features introduce new ideas and influence other team members

  • Customize the look and feel of SharePoint as per the approved design

Here is what you need:

  • Experience with an in-depth understanding of SharePoint/O365

  • Experience with SharePoint customization, including custom branding and navigation, configuring, and administering search, configuring site collections, and designing security, content type development, workflows, and scripts

  • Experience with SharePoint administration such as SharePoint groups, managing permissions, etc.

  • Programming experience using C#, HTML, JavaScript (any framework), and CSS. 1+ year of experience in extending SharePoint features using SPFx/JavaScript

  • Experience with Power Platform applications (PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Power Apps, etc.)


Bonus points if:

  • Basics of Accessibility Compliance/Section 508

  • PowerShell scripting knowledge

  • Experience using a source control system with automated pipelines.

  • Experience with workflow and automation tools, such as Nintex, and/or Power Automate

  • Understanding of basic Power Platform concepts such as Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.

  • Understanding of basic Git concepts such as push, pull, commit, and branch.

  • Knowledge of Agile project management
