Overview
Key activities and responsibilities
For our based in Milan and we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager, HR & Payroll to oversee and manage the payroll operations and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, strong knowledge of collective labor agreements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The role is reporting into the Senior Manager, HR & Payroll, Italy.
Responsibilities
The resource will be responsible for the following activities:
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle (hiring, contract extensions, role changes, terminations)
- Collaborate with the external provider on the following topics (e.g. attendance, welfare programs, pension funds, benefits, salary-backed loans, salary increases)
- Provide support to employees and Groupe agencies for any requests or clarifications about HR Admin/payroll matters
- Support in fulfilling regulatory and mandatory obligations towards external bodies, in collaboration with the external provider (e.g. communications, disability reporting, workplace injuries)
- Generate clear reports for local and Groupe stakeholders, effectively communicating any relevant information
- Support in conducting regular audits of payroll data and processes to identify areas of improvement
- Continuous updates on labor laws and HR administration regulations, ensuring full compliance of internal procedures related to the payroll area
- Support to the Senior Manager, HR & Payroll in any relevant topic or requires connected with the HR & Payroll office and activities
Qualifications
Experience and Professional Requirements:
- Previous experience (8 years) in labor consultancy firms or large companies, managing the entire payroll process
- In-depth understanding of the monthly payslip
- Familiarity with various types of corporate benefits, attendance tracking, monthly payroll variables, and post-payroll activities
- Deep understanding of labor cost composition
- Excellent knowledge of the National Collective Labor Agreement for the Commercio sector (CCNL Commercio) – must have
Additional information
Education and skills
- Degree in Economics, Administration or similar
- Familiarity with Zucchetti software (Attendance Web)
- knowledge of SAP (Career Settings / SuccessFactors) and previous experience in Zucchetti implementation are considered a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel is a must)
- Fluency in English - must have
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
