Mechanical Design Specialist - Connectors Center of Competency (CoC)

This position for Designing and developing of Automotive Connectors from requirement analysis to production samples. Responsible as Expert/Consultant for development teams through out Connector. Should able to create Focus matrix, Technical documentation required during development.$Design and development of connectors, terminals and contacting elements$Consulting and technical evaluation of Connectors and terminals$Managing of all issues and questions related to crimp technology including special solutions regarding design and material$Vibration risk assessment of connection systems based on the vehicle measurement data using VMA$Performing of risk evaluations and risk releases (Dimension and vibration)$Performing of damage/failure analysis for all connector parts and coating systems$Problem solving during development and series production phase.$Test planning, coordination and performing as per different OEM connector specification and Automotive industry standards$Market research about non-Bosch connector systems and benchmarking$Participation in DRBFM, FMEA and focus matrix of plug connection system$Training about connector systems and basic functions to various customer departments
