As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop End of Line/Inline automation systems and automation software for manufacturing plants across NA, EMEA & API. Responsibilities include understanding project requirements, writing software documentation (PDD, SRS), collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing module designs and architecture diagrams, creating test logics, C# .Net programming, integrating with tester software, working with SMEs, and providing technical support globally. You will be accountable for timely delivery, ensuring quality, and collaborating to meet goals. The role requires expertise in C# .Net Windows programming (4.0+), WPF, OOAD, design principles, Oracle databases, and industry standard communication protocols.

We are looking for a talented Senior Product Engineer to facilitate the design and manufacturing of our current and next line of exciting products. As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be working closely with the Design and Cross Functional Teams to create industry-relevant products that meet company specifications.

Job Summary

Senior software Engineer – (Information Technology) position will be responsible for the design and development of End of line/Inline automation systems & automation software needs for manufacturing plants across NA, EMEA & API. The candidate should have a minimum of 8-11 years of experience in C# .Net Windows desktop application development and database concepts & designs. This role calls for collaboration with cross functional & multi-location teams to ensure that the projects are meeting 100% QDC, adhering to our standard processes and systems

Responsibilities

  • Understand the project requirements from SBU team; write software PDD (Project Design Document), SRS and getting necessary approvals from SBU.
  • Co-ordinate closely with SBU and provide all necessary software support needed to build manufacturing automation projects.
  • Preparation of module design and architecture diagrams, needed for projects.
  • Develop operations for test logics, C# .Net programming and integrating the same with Tester software for in house validation
  • Work closely with SMEs, system team for sprint/project deliverables and provide necessary support for bug fixing
  • Accountable for timely delivery and providing necessary technical support wherever needed and ensuring 100% Quality (Q), Delivery (D)
  • Support to system engineers during their commissioning located at NA, EMEA & API region.
  • Must collaborate with team to complete tasks, meet goals
  • Bring innovative ideas to improve products and processes

Qualifications

  • ME/BE degree - Computer Science/Information technology/ECE
  • 8-12 years’ experience in Software development, C# WPF.Net 4.0 Programming & database concepts with software integration and unit testing

Key Competencies

  • Expert on Software design patterns & Architecture
  • Expert in Software development life cycle processes (SDLC)
  • Very strong knowledge in C# .Net Windows Programming using 4.0 framework and above,
  • OOAD and design principles,
  • Oracle Database and RDBMS concepts
  • Creation of rich graphical user interface using WPF
  • Industry standard communication protocol like serial, Modbus, TCP/UDP, CAN
  • Hands on experience in Software Integration & unit Testing
  • Verbal & Written Communication skills
  • Manage team technically across multi geographical location
