Motion Graphic Designer

Empire Design are looking for a Mid-weight Motion Graphics Designer to join our New York AV team, creating work for Film and Television advertising.

This is a perfect opportunity for candidates who are equally passionate about Design as they are Film & Entertainment. The candidate will work heavily with the main London motion graphics team based in London, assisting with the production of motion graphics and confidently working independently with the New York team outside of UK working hours. This role will provide the chance for eager designers who are looking to develop their skills to work on a wide range of projects from major feature films to the leading streaming platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Conceptualize, design and create motion graphics for AV pieces ranging from title design to social media assets

- Manage multiple projects and work efficiently under tight deadlines- Work collaboratively in a team environment

- Be open and respond well to direction and constructive feedback both from clients and internally

- Strive to develop skills and techniques in order to produce work of the highest quality

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects as well a good understanding of the complete Adobe Suite

- Solid comprehension of typography

- Keen eye for design, composition, timing as well as a high attention to detail

- Awareness of key 3rd party plugins- Experience with Cinema4D or other relevant 3D software

- Excellent time management

This role would suit a designer with 2-5 years experience.

The role is full time, in office.
