Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and report product yield and key parameters, and manage the associated KPI improvement roadmap.
- Responsible as primary lead working through the engineering core team in yield & quality issue root cause finding.
- Manage implementation and maintain product configuration Matrix of Manufacturing Test and Featuring Codes changes.
- Bring to product/swimlane SCT L2-L3 changes for approval and prioritization of engineering change and customer qualification.
- Provide technical leadership on supply, quality, customer qualifications, and engineering changes.
- Represent RSS/SME to resolutions of Head/Media/Servo/Mechanical/Electronic processes/components to meet engineering KPI, quality KPI & cost.
- Liaise with RSS/SME on deployment strategy of Head/Media/Servo/Mechanical/Electronic processes/components prior to HVM.
- Work with Procurement/SQE team to facilitate Head/Media/Servo/Mechanical/Electronic processes/components issue resolution to supply issues that threaten supply continuity.
- Communicate Mfg-related design and/or lesson learn issues to sustaining core team.
- Ensure sPM drives lesson learnt to implement into other sustaining and development programs
- In event of quality stop order, execute SSO process and lead core team to define containment, disposition, drives root cause and corrective actions that meet optimized business objectives (accountable for D4 through D8 of 8D process).
- Participate in new product MRR reviews and approve product release to assume product ownership in VPR.
- Participate in new product KPI underpinning strategy and ensure all KPI and cost roadmaps are aligned to execution capability in HVM
- Coordinate with Development EPM on remaining Development efforts required for completion of pre-VPR ECs, such as MFG Test code and design changes(By exception).
- Liaise with Development EPM to prioritize changes, project manage and implement IP Firmware and Customer-related requirements and requests and ensure common implementation of improvements and/or CA to IP Firmware and Customer-related issues across sites and products.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- Fluent in English communication.
