About the Role
The Partner Sales Department aims to achieve its key KPIs of "acquiring new merchants" and "increasing PayPay payment volume." It conducts sales activities such as planning and proposing measures in collaboration with partner companies (EC store-related, such as payment agents and cart operators, as well as PayPay bill payment-related) and major infrastructure companies (electricity, gas, water), government agencies, and local governments. Furthermore, it works with internal planning and operations departments to improve and streamline operations, so its scope extends beyond sales. Strengthening partnerships is essential for further expanding PayPay as a payment infrastructure and ensuring its stable operation. A crucial role is to regularly communicate with each company, identify requests and challenges, and work together to improve them.
This is an additional recruitment due to organizational strengthening, aimed at expanding PayPay's online payments and enhancing its presence in the public utility and tax payment sectors.
You will be responsible for approximately 10 existing partner companies that acquire PayPay online merchants.
In addition to responding to inquiries from partner companies, you will plan, propose, and lead the implementation of sales promotion measures tailored to each partner company.
You will be responsible for local governments, public agencies, and major infrastructure companies.
You may also negotiate with intermediaries between PayPay and merchants. As a small team, the scope of responsibility per person is wider than in other teams, but this also makes it an optimal team for gaining a wide range of experience.
You will be responsible for planning and proposing measures that lead to the expansion of online stores where PayPay can be used and the maximization of the bill payment area, and then proposing these to partner companies and leading their implementation. You will also handle inquiries from partner companies and requests for business flow improvements.

You will be responsible for multiple partner companies and undertake the following tasks:
1. Plan and implement measures to "expand PayPay merchants and maximize PayPay payment volume" in collaboration with partner companies.
2. Analyze partner company performance and, based on EC-related knowledge, conduct challenge interviews and propose solutions to partner companies.
3. Respond to daily operational inquiries regarding contracts, system-related matters, and application status with partner companies.
4. When planning new measures, you will act as a project leader, involving relevant departments to organize the framework.
2. Responsible for PayPay Merchant and Partner Companies (PayPay Bill Payment related)
The main task is to maximize PayPay's presence in the convenience store payment market for taxes, electricity, water, gas, and communication fees paid by individuals using payment slips. This requires strategic thinking and execution skills, such as considering proposals for power companies or exploring methods by discussing with local governments. It is important to think for yourself "what to achieve and how" rather than simply following existing mechanisms.
Propose the benefits of introducing PayPay Bill Payment to companies and organizations such as power companies and local governments that have not yet adopted it, and lead to its adoption.
For already introduced companies and organizations, plan and execute measures to further encourage the use of PayPay, aiming to increase usage rates.
Continuously consider how to improve PayPay Bill Payment's profits, enhance user convenience, and increase service recognition, and propose and execute specific measures based on data.
It is required to think about the above daily and materialize it using numerical evidence.
