Job Summary
Accor is seeking a proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator for its Luxury & Lifestyle Portfolio, supporting multiple properties in Auckland and Wellington. This generalist role involves coordinating People & Culture activities, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and compliance, and supporting HR and WHS operations. The ideal candidate is highly organised, people-focused, and passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to world-class brands within Accor's Luxury & Lifestyle collective.
Must Have
- Support recruitment process (job adverts, interviews, onboarding)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
- Assist with HR documentation (contracts, policies, performance reviews)
- Coordinate employee training and engagement
- Respond to employee HR queries
- Support payroll and benefits administration
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and compliance
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- Proactive mindset with problem-solving ability
Good to Have
- Previous HR experience in a support, administrative or coordinator role
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator to join Accor’s Luxury & Lifestyle Portfolio, supporting Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour, Sofitel Wellington, SO/ Auckland, and JO&JOE Auckland. This pivotal generalist role will coordinate People & Culture activities across multiple properties, assist with recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and compliance, and support HR and WHS operations to ensure a seamless employee experience. - Support the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.
- Assist with HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate employee training sessions and engagement activities.
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- A desire to grow within the People & Culture realm and expand on an HR generalist skillset
- Previous HR experience in a support, administrative or coordinator role highly advantageous
- Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
