Job Summary
As a Process / Industrial Engineer on our Manufacturing and Operations team at Infineon, you will be instrumental in optimizing production processes and facility layouts. This role involves managing manufacturing operations, setting production schedules, designing equipment layouts for maximum utilization, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also evaluate employee productivity, recommend improvements, and lead automation initiatives to achieve year-to-year productivity gains in a high-tech cleanroom environment.
Must Have
- Manage manufacturing and/or production operations
- Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, material supply, staffing resources, and required volume
- Develop, design and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions
- Ensure compliance with established international safety and design standards and guidelines
- Evaluate employee productivity and recommend improvements
- Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output
- Establish accident prevention measures and training programs
- Ensure year-to-year productivity gain by identifying, fostering, and managing productivity projects
- Lead automation and operating teams for development and implementation of standardized automation software and hardware
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a similar engineering field
- 4+ years of relevant vocational or professional training or equivalent knowledge and skills

**Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:**
- Manage manufacturing and/or production operations, which may include assembly, machinery, processing, or packaging
- Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, material supply, staffing resources, and required volume to meet demand and maintain high standards of quality and quantity.
- Develop, design and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities
- Ensure compliance with established international safety and design standards and guidelines
- Evaluate employee productivity and recommend improvements to increase team efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions
- Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output, and identifies equipment and process flow bottlenecks
- Establish accident prevention measures, and plans and schedules training programs for team members concerning all phases of production operation
- Ensure year-to-year productivity gain: identifies, fosters, and manages the implementation of productivity projects at manufacturing sites
- Lead automation and operating teams at sites for the development and implementation of standardized automation software and hardware, and implements optimized working procedures for non-automated areas
**Your Profile
**Qualifications and skills to help you sucedeed:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a similar engineering field
- A relevant (4+ years) vocational or professional training and extensive subject-specific additional qualification (such as a technician)
- Equivalent knowledge and skills, such as those acquired through qualified training or alternative experiences, are also valued
- The total knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways
- This role typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent work experience, including conceptual knowledge of fundamental theories, principles, and practices or equipment job experience

Minimum of $ 60,300 salary per year
Maximum of $ 82,900 salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
