Sales Director Europe (Libra - Legal AI Assistant)

Job Summary
As Sales Director Europe for Libra, a Legal AI Assistant, you will lead and scale the regional sales organization across Europe, initially focusing on Benelux, Poland, and Italy. This strategic leadership role involves driving revenue growth, shaping go-to-market strategies, and building a high-performing team. You will blend hands-on execution with visionary thinking to unlock new markets and ensure customer success in the legal AI space, reporting to the General Manager of Libra.
Must Have
- Recruit, coach, and retain top sales talent across Benelux, Poland, Italy, and beyond
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous development
- Launch structured onboarding and training programs
- Own revenue targets and deliver predictable ARR growth
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline health through Salesforce and analytics tools
- Identify and pursue new verticals within corporate legal departments and law firms
- Collaborate with Marketing to enhance lead generation and conversion
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Product teams to align on client needs and market feedback
- Champion data-driven territory planning and account management
- Monitor KPIs and implement improvements based on performance insights
- Drive adoption of sales technologies to boost efficiency and effectiveness
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and strategic partners
- Navigate diverse cultures and decision-making structures across European markets
- Influence adoption of innovative AI solutions through clear, compelling communication
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related commercial field
- 7–10 years of proven software SAAS sales experience in complex, solution-focused environments
- Broad experience with successfully leading hunting teams
- 3–5 years of sales leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling high performing sales teams
- Demonstrated success managing and closing both long, consultative sales cycles and shorter, transactional sales processes across diverse client segments
Good to Have
- Experience working in a matrix/overlay sales structure
- Knowledge of SaaS metrics and account-based strategies
- Sales methodology certifications (MEDDIC, Challenger Sale)
- Familiarity with legal tech or experience selling to corporate legal departments and law firms
- Proficiency in Dutch, German, French, Polish, or Italian

About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead and scale our regional sales organization across Europe, with an initial focus on Benelux, Poland, and Italy. This is a strategic leadership opportunity where you will drive revenue growth, shape go-to-market strategies, and build a high-performing team that delivers measurable impact. As a key player in our expansion within the legal AI Assistant space, you’ll blend hands-on execution with visionary thinking to unlock new markets and elevate customer success.
You will report directly to the General Manager of Libra and collaborate with a growing team of passionate professionals.
Together, you’ll foster a culture of performance, agility, and customer-centricity—laying the foundation for sustainable growth across the region.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will lead the charge in building a scalable, high-impact sales organization across key European markets. You’ll be responsible for driving performance, enabling growth, and ensuring operational excellence through strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Build & Lead a High-Performing Team
- Recruit, coach, and retain top sales talent across Benelux, Poland, Italy, and beyond.

Drive Regional Growth
- Own revenue targets and deliver predictable ARR growth.

Expand Market Presence
- Identify and pursue new verticals within corporate legal departments and law firms.
- Collaborate with Marketing to enhance lead generation and conversion.
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Product teams to align on client needs and market feedback.
Optimize Sales Operations
- Champion data-driven territory planning and account management.

What you’ll bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related commercial field.
Experience
- 7–10 years of proven software SAAS sales experience in complex, solution-focused environments, broad experience with successfully leading hunting teams.
- 3–5 years of sales leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling high performing sales teams, ideally with teams across multiple European countries.
- Demonstrated success managing and closing both long, consultative sales cycles and shorter, transactional sales processes across diverse client segments.
Skills
- Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce) and data-driven sales management.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages such as Dutch, German, French, Polish, or Italian is a strong advantage.
Nice to have
