Job Description

This senior Scrum Master role involves providing end-to-end development solutions for a major investment banking product. The work includes scaling up the tech stack using cloud services within the Payment Settlement stream. Responsibilities encompass collaborating with a delivery team, leading requirement understanding, story creation, solution design, implementation, and testing. The role demands ensuring reliable and supportable software, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and being accountable for the successful delivery of a regulatory-critical workflow. Strong analytical skills, data manipulation expertise, and deep understanding of the global regulatory environment within financial services are crucial. Prior development experience is a must.

Must have:

8+ years overall experience with development background
4+ years as Scrum Master
Expertise in JIRA, Confluence
Experience in business and data analysis in financial services
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
In-depth understanding of global regulatory environment
Prior Development Experience

Good to have:

Agile (SCRUM MASTER) Certification
Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines
Investment banking project experience

Project description

Provide End to End Development solution to one of the largest investment banking products by scaling up the latest technology stack by adopting the cloud-based services under Payment Settlement stream.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a delivery team, collaborating and leading others to understand requirements, create stories, design solutions, implement them, and help test them.

Coordinate the design and develop excellent and understandable code.

Ensure that the software built at your direction is reliable and easy to support in production.

Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond.

Be accountable for successful delivery of a regulatory critical work stream.

Skills

Must have

8+ years of overall experience with a Development Background with 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.

Expertise in utilizing development productivity tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Built dashboards for representing data in JIRA.

Extensive experience in business and data analysis within financial services, showing strong analytical skills and clear problem-solving with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data.

Performing the Scrum Master role with a deep understanding of delivering change.

Prior Development Experience is a MUST.

Proven experience in problem-solving and working to tight deadlines, whilst achieving good-quality outputs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to interact with senior stakeholders.

Structured, organized, and results-oriented approach, demonstrating a high level of diligence and attention to detail and the ability to ensure high quality and consistency in the deliverables produced.

In-depth understanding of the global regulatory environment.

Strong generalist regulatory experience from within the financial services industry.

Nice to have

Certification in Agile (SCRUM MASTER)

Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines through Jenkins/Git/Github/Github Actions

Experience in investment banking-related projects
