Meet Our Team:
The Media Supply Chain team builds applications and services, that power Warner Bros Discovery’s content pipeline. Our applications cover the entire breadth of the media supply chain, from idea to distribution to over 2,000 partners. We have a robust global community of thousands of internal Warner Bros Discovery users who rely on our apps every day to get television and films produced, on the air, and onto Discovery+, HBO Max, and beyond.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • WBD is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager in agile software development practices to work on Media Supply Chain product offerings.

  • Your role will primarily focus on liaising with other product owners across MSC to understand the business objectives, prioritisation and imparting the same to MSC engineering team to align to the deliveries

  • You will bridge any gaps between the product owners and engineering teams to increase the velocity of the deliverables

  • You will liaise with customers to onboard workflows to effectively execute the delivery plans.

  • You will work closely with other PMs on delivery roadmap and cross portfolio alignment. Own initiatives through inception to release cycle.

  • Engage closely with internal and external stakeholder to prioritize initiatives.

  • Define and track success metrics for projects, drive risk analysis for projects during discovery phase.

  • Translate ideas into written product pitch, lean canvas, a business use case. On-going collaboration with commercial lead and technology team to complete discovery of an initiative

  • Understand and articulate customer demand and market gap/opportunity.

  • Active focus on building customer knowledge through customer relationships, interviews, and user forums

  • Make data driven decisions on customer usage, satisfaction, engagement, adoption, etc.

  • Conduct design sprints, jobs-to-be-done workshops, beta testing program in close partnership with the customers to validate new ideas and solutions.

  • You will lead by example and define the best practices, will set high standards for the entire team and for the rest of the organization.

  • You have a successful track record for ambitious projects across cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure that technical solutions are in line with established WBD Digital strategy, standards with respect to architecture, security, corporate governance, coding standards, monitoring, logging, unit test, and service enablement.

  • To make a great fit for this role, you will bring passion, curiosity, collaboration, and clarity to lead hypothesis-driven product discovery initiatives.

  • Your informed approach to continuous discovery and your strong relationships with your stakeholders will help not only ensure product decisions are made with customer input but will also identify and validate market problems that align with our portfolio and offer significant growth opportunities.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to collaborate and influence in multisite cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to identify gaps, program risks and take pre-emptive actions to address them.

  • Demonstrated technical and financial aptitude.

  • Passionate self-starter with a no-excuses, can-do attitude

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile/Scrum; SAFe experience a plus, but not required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong technical writing & visualization skills

  • Strong execution and product delivery skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.


What to Bring:

  • 5 – 9 years of software development experience including 7+ years of intensive and extensive product discovery experience

  • Must have led / managed product development and worked with engineering teams to drive software development.

  • Must have experience in defining and documenting system interactions, high level data flows and component architecture.

  • Should be familiar with various Software Development Life Cycles

  • Must have strong program and project management skills and bring transparency into product development/roadmap delivery.

  • Domain knowledge in the Media and Entertainment space will be a plus.

  • Must have worked on globally distributed product development projects.
