Job Description

Valeo is a global tech company, designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent mobility. As a System Engineer, you will be accountable for performing activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan, reviewing customer requirements and specifications, and ensuring robust design and validation. Your role involves supporting technical architecture, adhering to standardization rules, and participating in design reviews. You will also be involved in the design, integration, and validation of product blocks, including simulations, coding, calculations, and testing, while reporting progress and escalating risks.

Must Have:

Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan.
Review Internal and Customer Requirements and Specifications.
Ensure robust design and validation in line with economical targets.
Support technical architecture and standards assignments.
Follow Standardization rules.
Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers.
Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation.
Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and thermal studies.
Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests.
Report task progress and escalate risks.

Accountable for :

Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL
Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
Support technical architecture and standards assignments
Follow Standardization rules
Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests

Management follow-up
