Tencent Cloud seeks a Senior Strategic/Channel Sales Executive for emerging markets. This role involves driving strategic and channel sales, building relationships with industry leaders, and promoting Tencent Cloud's solutions. Responsibilities include collaborative selling with partners, leading customer engagements, enhancing partner performance, developing strategic plans, managing sales pipelines, supporting contract negotiations, and reporting sales performance. The ideal candidate possesses a hunter mentality, strong closing skills, and experience selling to C-level executives. A deep understanding of cloud services and the ability to articulate complex solutions are crucial.

  • Knowledge of cloud services, CDN, SaaS
  • Strong English proficiency
  • Proven ability to close high-value deals

Position Overview

Join Tencent Cloud as a Senior Strategic/Channel Sales Executive, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape our expansion into emerging markets. In this versatile role, you’ll collaborate closely with strategic partners, build impactful relationships with industry leaders, and drive growth through both direct and channel sales. Whether engaging with key stakeholders or co-selling with partners, you’ll champion Tencent Cloud’s innovative solutions and lead initiatives that deliver real business results. Responsibilities

  • Drive both strategic and channel sales efforts in emerging markets by promoting collaborative selling with key partners.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders, gaining deep insight into their business needs.
  • Lead customer and partner engagements, presenting Tencent Cloud’s value proposition and identifying strategic sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to enhance performance through best practices, training, and ongoing support.
  • Develop and execute strategic account and partner plans, aligning with industry trends and customer analysis.
  • Provide leadership in managing key pipelines, ensuring successful deal closure and exceeding sales targets.
  • Support contract negotiations in partnership with the Business Contracts Manager.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Tencent Cloud offerings, tailoring solutions to meet customer and partner needs.
  • Work closely with the Solutions Engineering team to ensure partners and customers maximize value from Tencent Cloud investments.
  • Track and report sales performance, including account growth, revenue forecasts, and strategic goal attainment.

Who We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or its equivalents
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling cloud services, managing large high-profile accounts and partners. Solid knowledge of cloud services, CDN, SaaS, and the broader internet space.
  • Strong proficiency in English is required; Mandarin language skill is a plus.
  • Proven “hunter” mentality with exceptional ability to close sales and generate leads.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives with a strong record of closing high-value deals.
  • Strong technical sensibility, with the ability to understand complex solutions and translate them into customer benefits.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue, manage enterprise accounts, and articulate complex cloud and SaaS solutions to decision-makers.
  • Experience analyzing data, trends, and market conditions to develop key selling points and strategies.
