As a Sales Analyst reporting to a Director of Sales Development, you will identify and nurture prospects to generate valuable leads for the Sales Team. Successful Sales Development Representatives excel at research, solving complex puzzles, and developing innovative strategies to connect with the right people, uncovering valuable insights. They are self-motivated, driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, passionate team players continuously seeking opportunities to grow and improve.
Must Have
- Make proactive daily calls to identify sales opportunities for Nasdaq Verafin.
- Act as the first contact for new prospects and determine next steps.
- Uncover pain points within financial institutions that Verafin can solve.
- Identify decision-makers and build strong, lasting relationships.
- Develop targeted nurture campaigns for future buying opportunities.
- Collaborate with SDRs, share ideas, and participate in training to meet SQL targets.
- 2+ years of experience in prospecting and proactive cold calling.
- Skilled at uncovering prospects’ needs and building strong relationships.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Comfortable engaging with roles at all levels, including C-suite executives.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of the financial or software industry.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting applications.

This position can be located in St. John's or Toronto, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
