Job Summary
Razorfish is seeking a highly analytical and insights-driven Web Analytics Senior Associate to join their data analytics team, directly supporting a prominent e-commerce client. This role involves leveraging data to optimize website performance and enhance paid media effectiveness. Responsibilities include deep-dive analysis of website performance, translating complex data into actionable insights for marketing strategy, contributing to reporting, executing ad-hoc analyses, and performing basic statistical analysis to validate findings.
Must Have
- Conduct sophisticated website performance analysis
- Translate data into actionable insights for marketing

- Perform basic statistical analysis
- Partner with Analytics Manager to prioritize requests
- 1-3 years in marketing, web analytics, or data role
- Proficiency in Adobe Analytics

- Ability to transform raw data into narrative
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Python/R
- Basic understanding of paid or owned media campaigns
- Experience or basic knowledge of website tagging, tracking, or Tag Management Systems (e.g., Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager)
- Prior exposure to A/B testing, site usability studies, or CX research

Razorfish is seeking a highly analytical and insights-driven Web Analytics Senior Associate to join our data analytics team. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex website behavior data and high-impact marketing strategy, directly supporting a prominent e-commerce client. Responsibilities
💡 What You'll Do: Core Responsibilities:
This role is centered on leveraging data to optimize website performance and enhance paid media effectiveness.
- Deep-Dive Analysis: Conduct sophisticated analysis of website performance, focusing on key areas like clickstream, pathing, UX, and conversion funnels to diagnose issues and identify growth opportunities.
- Actionable Insights: Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling, and actionable insights that directly inform paid media decisions, audience segmentation, and overall marketing spend optimization.
- Reporting & Frameworks: Lay the groundwork for and contribute to day-to-day reporting needs, ensuring robust measurement is in place across marketing efforts, utilizing established digital/website KPI frameworks.
- Ad-Hoc Investigations: Proactively design and execute ad-hoc analyses to uncover critical learnings related to specific pages, media placements, audience segments, or on-site experiences.
- Statistical Rigor: Perform basic statistical analysis (e.g., calculating statistical significance, understanding distributions) to validate findings and ensure the integrity of insights.
- Strategic Support: Partner with the Analytics Manager to prioritize analytical requests based on business impact, complexity, and urgency, helping to shape the overall data strategy.
Qualifications
🛠️ The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency or data-driven environment.
- Experience: 1–3 years of dedicated experience in a marketing, web analytics, or data-centric role.
- Core Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Adobe Analytics for data extraction and analysis.
- Data Manipulation: Expert level in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas) and experience building impactful presentations in PowerPoint.
- Analytical Mindset: A natural curiosity, a passion for data discovery, and the ability to think critically in a constantly changing digital landscape.
- Storytelling: Proven ability to transform raw data into a clear, compelling narrative
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), meticulous attention to detail, and comfort operating in a deadline-driven environment.

- Familiarity with other data analysis and visualization tools like Google Analytics (GA4), SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or Python/R.

Compensation Range: $90,000- $112,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
