We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity with a leading organization in the aviation sector, based in Grengel. Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, implement, and operate IT applications based on the organization’s IT infrastructure.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop system change concepts for IT infrastructures; prepare decision-making documents for implementation.
- Maintain and support existing systems and applications, including Windows and Linux environments, ensuring their documentation and smooth operation.
- Participate in projects, including leading sub-projects, for the introduction or enhancement of new IT applications.
- Provide first and second level support services daily.
- Coordinate and approve external service providers’ work, handle complaints, and review/authorize invoices, with knowledge of IT project quality assurance processes.
Your Profile:
- Completed degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
- Technical expertise in the support, implementation, and further development of IT systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems, along with relevant regulations (EU-GDPR, ITIL, Business Continuity Management, Requirements Engineering, BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO27001).
- Experience with high-availability environments is desirable.
- Good understanding of database systems (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, etc.).
- Extended project management skills, especially leading large projects with budgets over 1 million euros (advantageous).
- Ability to adapt operational processes into programmable workflows.
- Proficiency in German and English (minimum level B2).
