Game Developer Intern (Unity)

About us:

Metronome was started with a vision to combine 2 passions of ours- Gaming and Investing space. If you take a glance at games related to Investing; one could easily deduce that some of them were informative but were not stimulating or fun to play with and some of them were enjoyable but did not reflect how the real investing process takes place, henceforth a seed was planted to make an immersive experience for gamers and finance enthusiasts alike which is fun to play but realistic at the same time and can serve as a learning experience for them as well. At Metronome, we aspire to do so through an interactive and stimulating Investment and Wealth Generation simulator experience with our product which is a Board Game styled mobile gaming application.

Job Description:

• Working on Game design documents, wireframes, and other game-related documentation along with Senior Game designers.

• Performing game design tasks as assigned by Senior Game Designer.

• Working with artists and programmers to make sure that the creative vision is fulfilled, and assisting Senior Game Designer in checking and ensuring the quality of game versions.

• Working closely under the guidance of the Senior Game Designer to ensure that the design specifications are achievable within the technical and production constraints of the project.

• Absolute passion for playing and making video games, especially mobile games.

• Creative problem-solving, a passion to innovate, and the drive to go beyond

• Autonomous, proactive, and organized with a high degree of self-motivation.

• Design, implement, and maintain gameplay/UI/tooling systems for the company

• Perform code reviews and follow best practices

• Help the production team meet expectations/deadlines

• Support test and deployment of new products and features.

• Participate in code reviews.

Qualification:

• Candidate should be interested in game development. Hands-on experience with Unity will be preferred.

• Familiarity with Unity Addressable like UI and code

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
