SimCorp is seeking a strategic and experienced Leader of Global Resource Management (Director/Senior Manager) for their Consulting Services organization. This role is responsible for managing and leading the global resourcing function, setting strategic direction, and overseeing operational execution across all regions. The Director will drive efficiency, scalability, and alignment of resource strategies with global business objectives, collaborating closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a global resource management strategy, optimizing resource allocation, leading a global team of resource managers, developing capability frameworks, managing external consultants, and engaging with clients and stakeholders. The role also emphasizes innovation and digitalization of resource management processes.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US 

 

SimCorp is seeking a strategic and experienced  Leader of Global Resource Management (Level DOE - Director/Senior Manager) - Consulting to manage and lead the global resourcing function within our Consulting Services organization. This leadership role is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing the operational execution of resource management across all regions. With 10 years of experience in professional services or resource management, the Director will drive efficiency, scalability, and alignment of resource strategies with SimCorp’s global business objectives. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure optimal resource deployment and successful client delivery. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

 

Strategic Leadership & Transformation 

  • Execute a global resource management strategy aligned with SimCorp’s consulting delivery model and long-term goals.  

  • Lead the ongoing transformation of the resource management function, aligning practices with industry standards and business needs. 

  • Centralize and standardize global resourcing processes using objective, data-driven decision-making. 

 

Resource Optimization & Operational Excellence 

  • Oversee global resource allocation across projects to ensure alignment with client priorities, delivery timelines, and organizational capacity. 

  • Develop and implement scalable tools, processes, and best practices for resource planning, forecasting, and utilization. 

  • Continuously improve reporting on forward load, utilization, and demand forecasting to proactively manage staffing needs. 

 

Leadership & Collaboration 

  • Lead and mentor a global team of resource managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

  • Partner with regional leadership across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to align consultants with high-impact projects. 

  • Liaise with engagement and project managers to monitor project margins and enforce compliance with resourcing strategies. 

 

Capability Development & External Resourcing 

  • Drive the development of a capability framework to ensure workforce competencies align with current and future project demands. 

  • Oversee the centralized procurement and onboarding of White Label external consultants, ensuring consistency and compliance. 

 

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management 

  • Participate in high-level client and prospect discussions to understand resourcing needs and provide strategic input. 

  • Manage escalations and resolve complex resource conflicts across regions and projects. 

 

Innovation & Digitalization 

  • Champion the automation and digital transformation of resource management processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. 

  • Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to uplift global resource management capabilities. 

 

WHAT WE VALUE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field. 

  • 10+ years of experience in professional services, consulting operations, or resource management. 

  • Proven leadership in global or regional resource management within a matrixed organization. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making. 

  • Proficiency with ERP, PSA, or workforce management tools. 

  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. 

  • Strong leadership and team development experience. 

 

Added Advantage 

  • Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP) certification  

  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent). 

  • Experience in the FinTech industry. 

  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies. 

  • Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
