Job Description

Smilegate Entertainment is seeking a seasoned UE5 Client Developer for their next Crossfire project. The role involves developing and maintaining game IP, creating global cultural content, and working on PC client and dedicated server development using Unreal Engine 5. Responsibilities include developing new content and systems, UI work, bug and crash fixing, legacy code improvement, engine optimization, leading new mode development, improving data and asset management, and enhancing the build process. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience, a strong understanding of C++, object-oriented programming, and Unreal Engine 4/5. Experience with crash fixing, mode development, and software architecture is highly valued.

Must have:

7+ years experience
C++ and OOP expertise
Unreal Engine 4/5 experience
PC client & dedicated server development
Content and system development
Bug fixing and optimization

Good to have:

Crash fixing/troubleshooting
Mode development leadership
High-level software architecture understanding
Unreal Engine 5 shooting game experience
Dedicated server development (network)
Multi-platform experience
CI/CD understanding

공통업무 - 언리얼 엔진 5 기반 PC 클라이언트 / Dedicated Server 개발 - 신규 콘텐츠 및 시스템 개발과 그에 수반되는 UI 작업, 버그 및 크래시 수정 담당업무 - Legacy Code 개선 혹은 엔진 최적화 - 신규 모드 개발을 주도적으로 리드 - 데이터 및 에셋 관리 개선 - 빌드 프로세스 개선

자격요건

- 경력 7년 이상 (시니어 우대) - 컴퓨터 공학을 전공하거나 그에 준하는 기반 지식을 갖추신 분 - C++ 언어 및 객체지향 프로그래밍을 활용한 개발 역량을 갖추신 분 - 언리얼 엔진 4/5 기반 프로젝트 경력이 있으신 분

필요역량

공통역량 - 언리얼 엔진 아키텍처에 대한 기본적인 이해도 - 원만한 커뮤니케이션 스킬 우대역량 - 크래시 수정 혹은 트러블 슈팅 능력 - 모드 개발 능력 - 높은 수준의 소프트웨어 아키텍쳐 및 언리얼 엔진 이해도

우대사항

- 언리얼 엔진 5를 사용한 슈팅게임 상용화 경험 - 언리얼 엔진 네트워크 기반의 Dedicated Server 개발 경험 - 다양한 플랫폼 경험 - 다국가 서비스 혹은 CI / CD 관련 이해도
