• Good understanding of general corporate laws, Information technology, Cyber Security, data privacy, Intellectual Property Laws & Software related areas of practice. Be able to identify risk and counsel business.
• Contract management and be able to adapt to changing legal trends and use of technology.
• Transactional assignments: Be able to draft, negotiate complex transactions for business units in India and support Global transactions enabling to achieve business goals.
• Business Advisory: Participate and provide legal advise to business units regarding IT & Software related, Cyber security, Data privacy and Intellectual property and effectively identify risk factors, to provide timely legal advise and enable business growth and global compliance.
• Stakeholder management: Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders in aligning their business requirements within the external legal frameworks to devise an effective business strategy.

Risk management: Liaise with Senior Legal Counsel to provide risk analysis on possible legal issues and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations to minimize liability exposure.

8-14 years’ max post-qualification legal experience.

Bachelor’s law degree from an accredited institution. A Masters in law from a reputed institution could be advantageous.

Experience gained from a reputable commercial law firm and then made transition to the in-house legal team of a recognized entity
