VGW seeks a Senior Insight Analyst to analyze player data, uncover performance drivers, and develop data-driven insights to improve client experiences and drive growth. Strong SQL, data visualization skills, and experience with business intelligence tools are essential.

Our Growth team in Toronto is currently looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to join the team.

As a Senior Insight Analyst you alongside key business stakeholders to understand our client experiences, their performance playing in our social gaming products and provide insights that help to improve our client gaming experience, gaming portfolio and drive profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

Analyzing and monitoring all aspects of business, player and game performance.
Uncovering the drivers of player game experience, player preferences across all online social games and optimal player personalizations.
Develop an expert knowledge of drivers of team performance for various business units, profitability and player retention.
Identifying data-driven product experimentations to help drive player understanding and improving player-driven experiences with our games and products.
Querying large databases; using SQL to extract, manipulate and analyze data to produce insights and recommendations.
Collaborating with Account Management and Product Teams including but not limited to the Account Management Leadership team, Account Managers , Product Owners and other data teams

What you will bring to the role:

5+ years of experience with SQL and experience querying and interpreting large databases.
BA/MSc in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field.
Significant experience with data visualization principles and techniques using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire etc.) to visualize results.
Effectively connect data insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders and to improve business performance measurement and tracking.
Working closely with non-technical stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions to collaborate with Data and Product Engineering teams.
