Quantic Dream seeks a Game Designer - Competitive with 2+ years of experience in designing competitive game modes, matchmaking, and ranked modes balancing. Strong data-driven approach and excellent communication skills are essential. Deep strategy game experience is a plus.

We are recruiting our Game Designer - Competitive to support the development of our Competitive project.  Reporting to our Lead Game Economy and Monetization Design, you will be responsible for building the competitive frame of our game. Those responsibilities include:

Responsabilities

    • Own the design of competitive game modes and its ecosystem;
    • Own game matchmaking;
    • Maintain the integrity of owned features over time;
    • Work closely with the Core gameplay team, creating a healthy collaboration between domains of Core gameplay and Competition; 
    • Contributing to the grand vision of the game in all its aspects.

Requirements & qualification

    • 2+ years of experience as a Game Designer;
    • Proven experience in matchmaking and ranked modes balancing;
    • Data-driven approach in decision-making;
    • Excellent communication skills, ability to stand your ground and rationalize your concepts;
    • Ability to work on time with strict deadlines;
    • Deep strategy game experience as a player.
