Gearbox Software is looking for a talented, passionate, Senior Outsourcing Manager to join the team. This person will be responsible for all external art outsourcing. Responsibilities: Build and maintain long term relationships with external art vendors Negotiate favorable contracts that align with scope and budget Manage external artists and provide feedback Manage the external art vendor schedules, deliverables, and day-to-day communication Track status of art assets and provide supporting materials required for production Develop the external art pipeline into a highly efficient workflow that maintains quality while meeting budgetary constraints Work to expand outsourcing efforts while improving efficiency, savings, and quality Qualifications: 3+ years as an Outsourcing Manager or Art Manager in the video game industry Previous experience managing vendors or external teams Ability to solve complex production problems efficiently Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines Knowledgeable of art content production pipelines Ambitious and passionate about quality results Ability to communicate well both written and orally Comfortable in a dynamic work environment where there are many changes and iterations to improve the game.
